Hi,

I am a SEND student at Marjon University in my third year. This will be my final year, where I can work part time before I finish university. I attend university on a Thursday and currently have regular work, so get in fast, I'm very flexible!

I have been working in health care for 10 years, currently looking after young lads on a 1-1 basis with LD and autism. I started as a cleaner and then a kitchen porter. I worked my way up to elderly carer to support worker.

I was the Beaver Scout Leader for Totnes Beavers from January 2023 to July 2024 (hoping to restart when available), but I was a volunteer for many years before covid. I engaged in work experience in schools and nurseries while I was at South Devon College with ages 1 to 5. I did University work experience in a SEN school for 3 months November/December 2023 - March 2024.

I have autism. I feel this is a great help when l look after disabled people as I have a wider understanding of how it effects people. I have a wide knowledge of different things disability and disabled related as well, from understanding, form filling and much more.

So, are you the main caregiver in need of a break? Do you wish for a trusted, reliable partner to care for your loved one while you recharge? Look no further. Welcome to my respite services – your sanctuary of support and care. I am funny and lots of fun, I'm kind, caring and outgoing. I have a huge heart and I care deeply. Your disabled family member will have loads of fun with me, exploring new things or keeping their routine.
